Details on the web of nine enormous sanctuaries connected to the Megalithic observatory Kokino, which was discovered in Macedonia, will be announced today in Skopje.
Despite Kokino, an ancient observatory and sanctuary, another nine regional sanctuaries, located in the North-East Macedonia, are included in the web as well as another two local sanctuaries all built and used in the time when Kokino Megalithic observatory was built.
The significance of these discoveries for Macedonia and the whole region will be presented by the Head of this research Gjore Cenev at the conference.
He led the research Planetarium team in the frameworks of the project "Archaeological analysis of Megalithic observatory Kokino and other similar places in Macedonia, financed by the Ministry of Culture.
