Croatian Health Minister Darko Milinovic's son has fallen ill of H1N1 flu, local media reported.
The same sources say Milinovic resorted to preventive measures - he took a sauna in a bid to have the eventual virus destroyed at a temperature above 90 degrees.
"My son was tested positive for the H1N1 flu virus, but he is feeling better. I hope that other members of the family won't fall ill. I went into the sauna, where no virus can survive," Milinovic said.
He added there is no need for declaring an epidemic in Croatia though the number of confirmed H1N1 cases tops 2,500.
