Macedonian
Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski urged his Greek counterpart George Papandreou to
think twice before imposing veto on Macedonia European integration at the EU
council meeting, set on December 7.
The Greek PM has repeated Greece’s
minimalistic position on name issue, which has been released at the meeting in New York.
Gruevski said that direct talks, led in line with the official negotiations
under UN patronage, are step forward in solving name dispute.
Gruevski added that Greece
won’t accomplish anything with threats and blockades, which was the case when Greece imposed veto on Macedonia’s bid
to join NATO and made the two countries relations worsen.
