Deal on development of Prespa region |

Prime
Ministers of Macedonia, Greece
and Albania
have agreed to sign an agreement on environmental protection and sustainable
development of the Prespa region.
This agreement was reached at the trilateral meeting of prime ministers Nikola
Gruevski, Geroge Papandreou and Sali Berisha, who met in the hamlet of Pili,
Greek part of natural reservation near Prespa
Lake which stretches on the territories
of Macedonia, Greece and Albania.
The
ministers agreed on promoting cooperation between the three countries on water
resources, pollution prevention and erosion protection.
The ministers also supported the international agreement on climate changes,
which will be signed in Copenhagen
by world leaders.
The meeting was overshadowed by prime ministers of Macedonia
and Greece,
who tried to discuss name issue.
