Belarus, Venezuela sign $1 b. military contract |

Belarus
has signed a military cooperation agreement with Venezuela
worth 1 billion dollars.
This information was announced Monday in Minsk,
revealing no further details, except that agreement in the oil exploitation
filed had been signed too.
Belarusian Security
Council State
Secretary Viktor Sheiman said the agreement "would secure commissions to
dozens of Belarusian companies involved in military equipment production for
many years to come".
At the press conference dedicated to his visit to Venezuela
on 7-8 September, Sheiman declined to comment as to what Belarus's
exports to Venezuela
would consist of.
