There is a probability for over two million Greeks to get infected by the A(H1N1) flu very soon, when a pandemic boom is expected in the country, lasting for about six weeks, reports radio Athens citing the National Pandemic Council. Greek health authorities urge for mass vaccination of the population, with the campaign starting on November 16. Vaccination centers will be open seven days in the week. Despite the death cases, authorities assure the population there is no threat from spreading of the flu. Press surveys have shown that majority of Greeks are sceptical towards the vaccine. A number of schools are in recess due to the flu. |
