At least two gunmen stormed an exchange office in Skopje's municipality of Karpos on Monday and stole 15.000 euros, Makfax correspondent said, adding that one employee has been wounded in the attack.
Bank robbery took place some 100 meters off Karpos Police Station shortly after 9 a.m., Makfax correspondent reported. Police task force Alphas secured the area. They arrived at the scene once notified that robbery was in process.
No official announcement by police has been made thus far.
Ministry of Interior confirmed the robbery but released no details.
Residents witnessed the heist. The witnesses said at least two men carried out the robbery. Unofficial reports say one of office's employees was wounded.
